The Nocturnal Readers' Book Review Policy
Although I'm completely new, there will be a day (I hope) when I'll be asked to review books by authors and I welcome and appreciate the opportunity to do so. I enjoy reading Young Adult (YA), New Adult (NA), Adult, Women’s Fiction, Vampire reads, cookbooks, Children's books, Literary Fiction, mystery/thrillers, dystopian fiction, Paranormal, Romance, Fantasy, and Goth (which is something new to me). Again, thank you for considering me as a reviewer. I accept both traditional books and digital ebooks (via Kindle); whichever you prefer and is easiest for you.
A few more details:
- The only genres that I will not consider for review are: inspirational, historical non/fiction, western, overtly religious, science fiction, sports, and self-help.
- I prefer not to review series' books out of order.
- Review turnaround time is typically two to four weeks from receipt of the book unless a specific date is requested.
- My reviews are honest and informative and include quotes from the text. Also, books are rated on a scale of 1 to 5. If available, author and/or publisher websites are linked in the review.
- I also may post my reviews on Goodreads as The Nocturnal Review (because somebody already took TNReader *pouts).
- I will not sell ARC's nor will I share them with personal family or friends unless otherwise stated by you, the author.
- I’d love to host author interviews or book giveaways in conjunction with reviews.
